Rapidr uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host all of our applications and static resources. They’re one of the top hosting providers in the world – used by companies like Netflix, Adobe, Twitch, LinkedIn, Facebook, BBC, SoundCloud, Snap, and Atlassian. Only Rapidr engineers have access to these machines, via key-based SSH login. We update system software whenever updates are available. To learn more, read about AWS data privacy & security policies.
Rapidr supports TLS encryption on all inbound and outbound email. TLS is a protocol that encrypts and delivers mail securely, for both inbound and outbound mail traffic. It helps prevent eavesdropping between mail servers – keeping your messages private while they're moving between email providers.
Our engineers have experience working on highly reliable, scalable, and secure systems at unicorn startups. We always have someone on call to address any issues or outages as fast as possible. We have robust monitoring in place to ensure that our team is notified when a problem occurs.
Rapidr uses Postgresql, a product of PostgresDB, to host our data. We back-up everything continuously to ensure your valuable data stays safe. This data is only accessible by the same group of Rapidr engineers who have access to hosting machines. Your private data will not be accessed by our team except when absolutely needed to resolve issues with your account.
Uptime and Data Availability
We strive for a 99.99% uptime across our product and to support that, we host our monitoring and logging systems outside of AWS and employ a variety of tools to accurately monitor and report on any anomaly that could impact the delivery of our services
Always-on HTTPS/SSL. We use a free SSL certificate from Lets Encrypt. We also provide a free SSL certificate for customers with custdom domains.
