What are Release Notes?
A release note is a technical document that represents new changes in a product, such as new features shipped, bug fixes, communicated among the stakeholders, including users and teammates, to keep everyone on track. Product release notes are a communication channel with your customers.
What is the purpose of Release Notes?
Release Notes are written to inform customers about new changes in the product, specific features shipped, and bug fixes that affect user experience, both major and minor. For example, fixing a major bug or adding or removing a feature is recorded in a release note. In addition, release notes help a company to engage and communicate the change to customers/users to raise awareness around the product.
